A young footballer is raising money for his club with a sponsored bike ride.
Lewy Royle-Hutson is five years old and a keen member of the Spalding under-six team.
He is cycling more than five miles next week to help buy equipment for the club.
Manager Albie Parker said he was very proud of the youngster who has already raised more than £400.
He will be helping to pay for kit including a gazebo and bibs with the club badge.
“He is only five and this is a brilliant thing for him to do,” said Albie.
A pupil at Pinchbeck East Primary, Lewy plays as a defender and in goal.
There are two under-six teams at Spalding and they have a diary of games and tournaments in the coming weeks.
“When I started seven weeks ago there were about 14 kids, but now we have two teams,” said Albie.
