Cafe takes the biscuits

A special cafe set up to aid mental health in Spalding is even more choc full of goodness thanks to a local company.

The Night Light Cafe is run by Tonic Health from its Westlode Street premises.

Aiming to avert loneliness, on Mondays and Thursday from 4pm to 7pm it provides a safe place to go and have a chat and biscuit.

There’s certainly loads of those to go around now thanks to a donation by Bakkavor.

The firm’s Julie Martin dropped the tasty treats off.A spokesman for the cafe said: “A massive thank you to Julie and her colleagues at Bakkavor for their very generous donation of biscuits to our Night Light Cafe in Spalding.

“It’s very much appreciated by all our participants.”

Night Light Cafes have also started at Tonic Health’s Holbeach Hub from 4pm to 7pm, Monday and Wednesday.
