Steadman treble for Moulton

A Louis Steadman hat-trick helped Moulton Harrox to a winning start in 2023 as they thrashed Stamford Belvedere 6-0 in the Dor-Jan Peterborough and District Football League Premier Division.
Gary Chappell also scored twice and Declan Earth netted in the rout for fifth-placed Moulton, who host Oakham United on Saturday.
Crowland Town and Tydd also both won.
Danny Firth, Jordan Kirchin and Juliano Resta gave Crowland a 3-1 home win over Leverington Sports that moves them up to sixth place ahead of their meeting with league leaders FC Peterborough this weekend.
Tydd put more distance between themselves and the bottom two with a 2-1 win over Wittering Premiair courtesy of Jamal Nyang and a winner from Carlos Costa.
Holbeach United were held 2-2 by Netherton United, Jordan Keeble scoring in the first half and Jordan Elston the second for the Tigers.
In Division One there was an important win for Long Sutton Athletic who beat Netherton United Reserves 2-0 through Calvin Bird and Jack Thomas goals.
Holbeach United Sports had a good League Cup win, Connor Bell’s double and Cameron Lee secured a 3-1 win at Glinton and Northborough, who are a division below them.
There wasn’t much to shout about for South Holland sides in Division Two.
Whaplode Drove Rovers lost 2-1 at ten-man Cardea despite Jack Greenacre’s goals, Jake Woodward was on target for Crowland Town Reserves at Leverington Sports Reserves in a 3-1 loss while bottom of the table Tydd Reserves were thumped 5-0.
Similarly in Division Three, Sutton Bridge lost 5-1 at home to Rippingale and Long Sutton Athletic Reserves lost 6-1 at Warboys Town Reserves.

In Division Four, Whaplode Drove Rovers Reserves were beaten 3-0 at home by Ramsey Town Reserves.
