Loan players lead to team downfall

Dunstable beat Spalding Men’s Water Polo team 15-13 despite having to borrow players from the home team.
Dunstable arrived at the Castle pool a few players down this Tuesday, so Spalding loaned them a couple of their squad to make a night of it.
Spalding dominated for the first two quarters but a keen and determined Dunstable kept the scores within striking distance.
In the final quarter a few missed passes and a mistake by last week’s hero Spalding goalkeeper Matt Papworth saw the visiting team triumph in the final moments of the game.
