Nurse hoping for parade role

This week’s featured person bidding to be the Ambassador for the Spalding Flower Parade is 22-year-old practice nurse Imogen Woolf.

Imogen has lived in Moulton her entire life and after previously being a district nurse in Spalding now works in Market Deeping.

She’s involved with groups such as Bounce Spalding, Polka Dot Dance Academy and Spalding Young Farmers’ Club.

She’s also previously volunteered at events within Spalding through the St John Ambulance and Pinchbeck 1st Brownies.

In her free time Imogen says she enjoys seeing her friends and boyfriend and playing with her miniature dachshund puppy Piper.

She said: “I would be a good ambassador as I feel I know the town and surrounding areas well and feel lucky to call this patch of the world home.

“I have either watched or been a part of the Flower Parade for as long as I can remember and idolised the previous Flower Queens during Pumpkin and Tulip Parades.

“I try to support to the local area wherever possible and am proud of being a Lincolnshire yellow-belly.”

Anybody who is over 18 can be apply to be the Ambassador at the Spalding Flower Parade on Saturday, May 13.

To apply contact Jan on 07779 895388 or email jan@tulip-events.co.uk or contact Richard Rush at The Voice on richard@spaldingvoice.co.uk and an entry form will be sent for you to fill in.
