Players’ darkly comic delight

St Nicholas Players are ready to unleash a murderous comedy that’s sure to leave its audience howling.

Norman Robbins’s A Tomb With A View is being put on at The South Holland Centre next week by the local group.

The darkly comic murder mystery has plenty of surprises sure to keep theatre audiences gripped.

A spokesman for the South Holland Centre said: “Old man Tomb is dead….

“As the trusted family lawyer reads out the will to the sinister Tomb family, who will inherit fathers millions? Mad scientist Lucien? His potion loving sister Dora? Dark and twisted Emily? Mad Marcus? Maneater Monica? Or Oliver, more wolf than man? Or will he leave it to the faithful staff, the family nurse or long standing housekeeper
Agatha?

“The family’s first surprise comes with the addition of a new beneficiary, a stranger to the family – the famous romantic novelist Miss Ash and her faithful secretary Perry.

“Full of twists and turns and murderous surprises, Tomb with a View takes us on a dark twisted comedic journey through the fates and lost fortunes of the Tombs.”

A Tomb With A View is on at 7.30pm every day from Wednesday, October 19 to Saturday October 22.

Tickets are £12 or £10 for concessions from the South Holland Centre or www.southhollandcentre.co.uk
