Spalding Golf Club is playing host to the inaugural Tonic Health Charity Golf Day on Tuesday, June 28.
Sponsored by Lightspeed Broadband, the day is designed to be a fun golfing event at the Surfleet course – which is considered one of Lincolnshire’s premier courses.
The main event will be a team competition, which will be supplemented by nearest the pin, straightest drive and putting competitions.
The format for the team competition will be a Stableford AM-AM, with teams of four.
The best two Stableford scores on each hole will count for the team score.
Prizes will be awarded to the first and second teams with additional prizes being subject to entry numbers.
All in attendance can enjoy a coffee on arrival, a light snack at the halfway house and a two-course meal following the game.
There’s even a chance contenstants may strike lucky in the prize draw on the day, with a first prize of £100.
For those looking to play but haven’t got a team of four, you can still enter and organisers will find other team members for you.
Don’t worry if you haven’t got an official handicap, as you will be given an appropriate handicap on the day, too.
Tee times are available from 11.30am to 2.30pm and the cost of the day is £25 for Spalding members and £45 for non-members.
