Charity country night at club

Veteran band Troubadour Country and legend Mervyn Futter are the star attractions as Spalding Services and Social Club looks to raise money for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance in May.

The High Street venue is putting on a special country music night on Saturday, May 7 from 7.30pm to 10.30pm.

Troubadour Country are a five-piece band playing old and modern country music including songs by Merle Haggard, Jim Reeves, Willie Nelson, Glen Campbell, Don Williams, The Eagles, Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Johnny Cash and Bellamy Brothers.

They’ll be joined on the bill by UK Country Music Hall of Fame artist Mervyn J Futter and his daughter Maria.

Mervyn has released ten albums since 1995 and joins up with Maria to “offer a lively show to turn any night into a party”.

Tickets cost £10 with all proceeds going to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

They’re available from Barry on 01775 769273 or 07931 339192.

Car parking is available on site.
