Absolute blast for a Christmas show

Kirton Brass Band will be making a return visit to the Elizabethan Centre later this month.

There will be an evening of Christmas music and carol singing after missing out last year because of the
pandemic.

Coun Paul Redgate, chairman of South Holland District Council, will open proceedings on Saturday, December 18.

The Elizabethan Centre and Social Club is a free-to-join organisation linked to the charity Whaplode Drove and District Playing Fields Association.

“The Absolute Christmas concert and celebrations 2019 was a massive success and sorely missed a year later,” said vice chair David Barfoot.

“This year will be even better and I’m so pleased to have Coun Redgate as our special guest opening the show and let’s not forget our other special guest, Santa, who will also be making an appearance on the night.”

The aim of the club is to provide events and entertainment for both the local community and those from further afield.

The doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start and there will be a full bar and table service.
