PDFL round-up: Six-goal thriller sees Pinchbeck Reserves hold Tydd, Sutton Bridge hit seven to stay top

Struggling Pinchbeck United Reserves held high-flying Tydd 3-3 in a fine ChromaSport PDFL Division One derby on Saturday.

Goals from Bradley Easey, Sam Cooper and Timmy Magnus for hosts Tydd were cancelled out by strikes by Harry Machin, Mario Vaz and Kyle Dodd.

In the same division, Moulton Harrox Reserves enjoyed a 6-1 success over Deeping Rangers Reserves.

Matt Rose (3), Martin Sandall (2) and Keith England fired Kev Nottingham’s side to glory.

Also victorious were Crowland Reserves, who edged out PNS Reserves 3-2 with Mantas Paskevicius (2) and Brad Moore netting at Snowden Field.

Up in the Premier Division, Danny Firth (2) and Ryan Kirchin scored as Crowland Town drew 3-3 at Oundle.

At the bottom of the table, Long Sutton lost 4-2 at basement side Stamford Lions despite a Jack Thomas double.

In Division Two, Holbeach Sports lost 7-4 to visitors Wittering Reserves, while Long Sutton Reserves went down 4-0 at home to Stilton Reserves.

Tydd Reserves, meanwhile, were 2-0 winners at Kings Cliffe in Division Three.

Sutton Bridge continue to boss Division Four after beating Rippingale and Folkingham 7-4, as Ben English (3), Mark Garner (2), Joe Sutton and Liam Bills scored to keep them top by three points.

In Division Five, a Callum Hunt goal couldn’t stop Holbeach Bank losing 2-1 at home to Nene Park Feeder.
Pinchbeck A were also beaten as Peterborough Rangers handed them a 6-1 home reverse.
