LETTERS – The right person for the job?

I see that parking charges are now reintroduced in the town centre.

The hope is that “now the people have returned they will appreciate what our town has to offer and come back”.

The old saying “there’s none so blind as those who will not see” comes to mind.

I note that the portfolio holder for Spalding town improvement is Coun Rodney Grocock, who believes the best place for a historic fountain is in the cemetery, out of town and where few will see it.

Do we have the right person for the job?
