LETTERS – Who is in charge at the tip?

Well it’s 3.15pm on a sunny Friday afternoon stuck in a line of traffic waiting to gain entry to get rid of “rubbish” at the recycling depot.

Queuing are 35 cars and 12 lorries extending back to the A16. The lorries unable to overtake the queue, as roadworks were in progress just up from the tip, thus preventing them from reaching their company.

I would think by now The Voice would delve deeper into the frustrating situation that affects a majority of households in Spalding. Who is in charge? Have they been to view the problem or is it a” jobsworth” approach?
