LETTERS – Thanks for your kindness

I am an elderly lady, and I would like to express my thanks to everyone who showed me such kindness when I had a bad fall in town last Saturday – the very kind couple who stopped their car, picked me up and drove me to where I was going and the staff at Impressions gave me hot tea with plenty of sugar (for the shock, they said), covered my very bloodied arm and called an ambulance.

The kindness continued with the NHS staff at the emergency ward in Boston and the two ambulance men who eventually brought me home.

I will probably never see any of these people again but it is good to know that there is so much kindness in the world given freely with no thought of return.
