£500 Christmas help for needy family in Holbeach area

A needy family in the Holbeach area will receive £500 help towards paying for Christmas this year.

Aneta Berry, proprietor of town shop UR Vapours, will give the money to what she judges to be the most deserving nomination.

She said: “It’s quite an emotional time at Christmas, especially when you have young children. Unfortunately some of us are not as lucky as others so it will be harder for those families.
“Everybody has been so welcoming to our business and this is our way of giving to the community and making someone’s Christmas less stressful. We’d like to hear about families that need a bit of a break.”

Nominations via a short letter should be dropped into the shop in West End by Saturday, December 10.
Aneta says families to be nominated must first give their permission and should live within three miles of Holbeach.
