40 homes planned for Long Sutton haulage yard

A haulage yard in Long Sutton could be used for a housing development.

Nene Transport (Lincs) Ltd wants permission to use its Station Road site for 40 new homes. The idea is to build 36 two-storey homes and change its office block into four one-bedroom flats.

A design and access statement accompanying the planning application to South Holland District Council says there will be no public open space on the brownfield site, but a link through to existing off Dick Turpin Way.

It adds: “A financial contribution in lieu of its provision on site will be offered so that existing areas within the settlement can benefit.”
