£2,000 for Poppy Appeal from Holbeach charity shop Chosen

Generous Holbeach charity shop Chosen has given £2,000 to kickstart this year’s Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal in the town.

Last Saturday’s donation is another step towards an incredible landmark for the Fleet Street shop, which supports charities chosen by the public.

Charity treasurer Iris Boland said: “We set ourselves a target to donate £25,000 before the end of the year.
“I am pleased to say we are on course hopefully, to achieve this by the end of December.”
