£1,000 recycling reward for Spalding resident Kimberly

The latest £1,000 winner in South Holland District Council’s recycling rewards scheme is going to treat her friends and family to a meal out.

Kimberly Marlowe, of Ambassador Walk in Spalding, won the Green Bag Lottery prize in a draw including £100 winners from the past three months.
She said: “It’s surreal, I’ve never won anything before in my life!
“I got a call to say I had won £1,000 and I was screaming down the phone. I was so excited and happy.”

Coun Roger Gambba-Jones, portfolio holder for waste management, said: “The Green Bag Lottery has only been running for ten months but already it is raising awareness of good recycling across the district.”
