Well done Anglian Water. Nice to see something being completed ahead of schedule for a change. Hang on a moment though. The sewers have been checked and are working properly but there is still a dip in the road?

Presumably the road surface belongs to some other authority and we can look forward to the remaining unused two weeks being taken up by them when they decide to remedy the situation in the future.

Would it not have been more sensible to take the full four weeks and fix the road properly even if that meant passing a bill on to the Highways Authority on completion?
