Yes they've been very sneaky about moving assured tenants out. Promising us that we would have no out of pocket expenses for moving, & then refusing to pay out for these out of pocket expenses, such as a large council tax bill on the new property I moved into due to the gentleman dying & his family applying for a council tax discount as the property was apparently empty & unoccupied for a month before I was even given the keys, but because I had the keys a few weeks before I was able to move in, due to things being organised by SHDC I apparently was liable for full council tax on the property as soon as I was given the keys as it turns out you can't receive council tax support on two properties! None of this, was I informed of prior to suddenly receiving the bill! Having had to have numerous distressing phone calls with housing & council tax departments I have an assurance that the bill will be paid by the housing department. I wish this was the only thing to contend with, but unfortunately not. A number of my personal belongings including all of my necklaces from my wardrobe, have gone mysteriously missing during the two days that The Right Move had my keys at the property in Small Drove. Everyone claims that there was nothing left on the van, these items were not in the property when I went to clean up the Saturday after I moved, so where have they gone? I have unpacked every single box, bag etc & turned the new house upside down at least a dozen times, but they are no where to be found! I have received a less than satisfactory response from The Right Move, to the emails I have sent - they say they are fully insured, however there has been no response to look, or replace my missing items. They broke a light fitting at the new property & SHDC are now having to repair that, as The Right Move are accepting no responsibility for anything. The head removals guy named Leigh, was extremely rude & uncooperative & generally unhelpful on moving day, spinning me a lot of lies including that my front door was apparently smaller than usual, which I know not to be true. I am writing this here & making it public due to receiving no satisfactory response from The Right Move or SHDC which a lady in Housing claimed that although The Right Move was employed by SHDC as their preferred contractor, apparently because no one from SHDC was there on the day of the move to oversee everything, that they feel they cannot intervene to assist on the resolution of this matter. I am heart broken that my jewellery, some of which was passed down from my grandmother when she passed away & some I had had for many years that had been given as gifts from my grandmothers have gone missing! These items are irreplaceable! Most just Sterling Silver. Please, if anyone reading this knows where my necklaces are, or who has them, please hand them, or at least the information on their whereabouts, to the Police.

Thank you.
